So there we go. Chelsea played well for half an hour, Arsenal played well for an hour, and earned their equaliser. I'm not sure either of these sides will do much when the real stuff starts, but both have some decent options going forward.

These penalties are great; Moses pauses and with Cech frozen, passes into the bottom right.

Nelson jiggles his thighs in the run-up, feints, pauses, and stirkes into the bottom left as Balka goes the wrong way.

Abraham smacks into the bottom left.

Lacazette waits for Balka to go right and then rolls into the opposite corner.

Drinkwater nails it down the middle and Cech can only palm into the net.

Penalties!

Arsenal were good in the second half; they were good from about the 25-minute mark. Chelsea were good before that, and useless after that.

Agianst Atletico, Arsenal scored one out of four; perhaps they're now acclimatised to the immense pressure of the whatever this competition is called.
