What start to this game! It looked like Neymar was actually thinking of a pass into Messi when he cut inside off the left, but then realised he was in a great position to shoot. Great goal.

Carvajal gets forward down the right side and plays a cross into the penalty area, but it is deflected by Mascherano an Bravo comes off his line to collect with ease. He hasn't conceded this season so far.

Ancelotti said in his press conference during the week that there would be a surprise in his starting lineup for this game, but his surprise seems to be that there are no surprises.

Suarez takes his first touch since sinking his teeth into the shoulder of an Italian defender at the World Cup four months ago, and is roundly booed by the Bernabeu crowd. Figures.
