I suspect Gracia has brought on Duda for the final few minutes to make use of his left-footed delivery from set pieces. That could be where Malaga find one last chance for an equaliser.

I just wonder if Malaga are starting to get a little tired now. They have had to chase the ball a lot tonigh, and some of their players have started to slow up and look a bit leggy.

This is a huge five minutes in the context of Real Madrid's season. A win would close he gap on Barcelona to just two points, but if they were to draw then they would be four behind. Big difference at this stage of the campaign.

Amrabat always shows plenty energy on the counter attack, and can handle himself against the most psyhical of defenders. But his final ball has a tendency to be poor, as has been proved tonight.

James has become crucially important to this Real Madrid team. His return from injury has underlined the impression he has made in his first season in La Liga. Excellent player.

Real Madrid have managed to take control of this game again, with Illarramendi and Isco dictating things in the centre of midfield as Malaga pack their defence and soak up the pressure.

From another tight angle, Ronaldo fires a freekick across the face of goal, with several Real Madrid players throwing themselves at it. But Kameni does well to make the diving stop.
