Arbeloa makes a great run in behind the Malaga backline, with Isco trying to find the full-back with a curling pass. But he lets it bounce and the ball skips away from the Spanish defender.

James is still wondering how that shot didn't result in a goal. He didn't everything right. He kept it low, put it to one side of the goalkeeper and struck it with power. And still Kameni saved.

Great shot, great save! James fires off an effort at goal, but Kameni is equal to it and pulls off an incredible stop to prevent Real Madrid from doubling their advantage. Fantastic. Got down so quickly.

Real Madrid are a much better team with Modric in the centre of midfield, but the Croatian hasn't had much of an opportunity to impose himsef on this game so far.

The Malaga players appealed to the officials for offside, and replays show that Ramos might have been leaning offside. But there was no call from the linesman and the goal was allowed to stand.

Ronaldo was probaly going for goal with that effort, but in the end it turned out to be an excellent cross into the box, and Ramos made no mistake in tucking away the ball from about four yards.

The absence of Bale through injury could be huge for Real Madrid against Atletico Madrid on Wednesday. They wil need to play on the counter, and Bale is vital to Real on the counter.
