PENALTY KICK TO BARCELONA! This time Neymar gets his penalty kick, and it was blatant. Llorente completely cleans out the Brazilian inside the area and the referee points to the spot.

This is a very open game so far. Rayo Vallecano aren't sitting back and defending what they have - they are going for a second goal! And Barcelona are allowing them to attack, as well.

Replays show that even if there was contact between Llorente and Neymar it happened outside the penalty area. It might have been a freekick but never a spot kick. Good decision.

The signs weren't good for Rayo Vallecano coming into this game. They had lost their last nine games against Barcelona, conceding 40 goals in the process. Things are going better tonight, though.

NEYMAR WANTS A PENALTY! The Brazilian goes down inside the area, looking for a spot kick, after feeling contact from Llorente. But there wasn't much in that and the referee agrees.

All of a sudden Rayo Vallecano are starting to carry some real threat when they come forward on the counter attack. This time Bangura gets to the byline, but his cross can't find anyone.

Bebe (yes, the very same Bebe) was the creator of that goal - and he has actually been impressive so far. He has been the danger man for Rayo Vallecano whenever they make it up the pitch.

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL! Barcelona 0 Rayo Vallecano 1 (23 mins - Javi Guerra). The visitors have the lead at the Camp Nou! A short corner allows Bebe to smash in a cross from the left side and Guerra was on hand at the back post to stick it away.

What is noticeable about this Barcelona team is that they don't look to keep hold of the ball in the centre of the pitch as often as they once did. They look for the channels much quicker.

It's not just in attack where Barcelona have had injury problems. Vermaelen has been ruled out again, which means that Mathieu is now the favoured partner for Pique. Enrique has never truly trusted Mathieu.

It's not just their passing either that is causing Rayo problems. They are pressing very high up the pitch, which is great when it works - but it leaves them exposed when it doesn't.

This is a risky gameplan from Rayo Vallecano. They are looking to play out from the back, and that is putting them in some dodgy positions against a team of Barcelona's quality.

TONO MAKES AMENDS FOR HIS MISTAKE! The Rayo Vallecano goalkeeper's kick-out is collected by Sandro, who threads through Suarez. He's clean through but Tono makes the save to atone for his error.

This is a big chance for Sandro to prove that he can play as part of Barcelona's attacking trio. He has actually been linked with a move away from the Camp Nou recently.

That pass from Roberto to release Rakitic through on goal was magnificent. It was so crowded in the centre of the pitch, and he found the Croatian with a perfect threaded ball.
