Atletico Madrid looked weary at points of this match but they come away from Cornella with three points to show for their efforts. Torres and Koke were the standout performers for Simeone's side. They were both excellent. Espanyol couldn't handle them in the end.

Augusto has had a good game for Atletico Madrid in the centre of midfield. He finally seems to be finding his place at the club having signed in the January transfer window.

However, this match isn't won yet. The subs haven't quite taken root in the Espanyol side but that doesn't mean that they won't pose a threat before the full time whistle blows at Cornella.

This Atletico Madrid team just seem to grind out wins game after game when they really shouldn't. They have looked tired for much of this match tonight and yet they are winning.
