So Real Madrid are finally on the same number of games played as Barcelona, with Zidane's side now three points ahead of their rivals at the top of La Liga. That means that a draw against Malaga on Sunday will be enough for Real Madrid to win the title. They are within touching distance.

FULL TIME: Celta Vigo 1-4 Real Madrid

Zidane will be mildly concerned that even against 10 men, Real Madrid still haven't been able to keep a clean sheet. They must start tightening things up at the back ahead of the Champions League final.

Benzema has been tireless for Real Madrid this evening. It's somewhat surprising that he has played the whole game considering how far he has run. He's been everywhere throughout!

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL! Celta Vigo 1 Real Madrid 4 (88 mins - Toni Kroos). And that will be that! Asensio and Benzema win the ball between them on the edge of the box, with Kroos showing composure to find the bottom corner of the net with a calm finish.

WHAT A SAVE FROM SERGIO! Benzema should have scored a fourth for Real Madrid, but the Celta Vigo goalkeeper made an astonishing close range stop to deny the French striker.

In fact, it's a double change for Real Madrid and Isco is off for Vazquez.

Looks like Real Madrid are about to make a change. Asensio is ready to come on, stripped on the touchline, so you would assume that it will be Isco or Benzema coming off?

This game has been played at a high tempo throughout, but it feels like both teams have accepted the end result now. Real Madrid are doing their best to keep Celta at arm's length.

One wonders if Zidane might be tempted to rest some of his most important players in the final few minutes of this game. Real Madrid also have a Champions League final to come.

Just to recap, this result (if Real Madrid hold out) will take Zidane's side to within a point of the league title. They would need just a draw against Malaga on the final day of the season.

This has been a sensational game so far. Celta Vigo have more than played their part. They are within their rights to feel somewhat aggrieved at some of the decisions against them.

SAVE FROM SERGIO! Real Madrid come flying forward once again, with Isco taking aim from the edge of the box after cutting inside, but Sergio gets down well to make the save.

WHAT AN ASTONISHING MISS! Ronaldo has all the time in the world to find the net from close range, sitting down Sergio, but he somehow manages to send his shot wide. Wow.

Another yellow card, this time shown to Mallo for hauling back Benzema. The home fans aren't happy.
