SIDE NETTING! Varane couldn't stretch far enough to stop the shot from Aspas, but the chance was from a tight angle and the former Liverpool man could only hit the side netting.

Wass just couldn't get the pass into the feet of Aspas. It was a nice idea from the playmaker, but the gap was a narrow one. Wass has been the main man for Celta Vigo so far.

Guidetti isn't happy with the linesman for blowing up a foul from the Swedish striker. There was some wrestling between him and Ramos. The referee has to have a word with him.

Aspas should have got his head up! The former Liverpool took the shot on himself when he should have played it to the back post, where Wass and Guidetti were both waiting.

WASS STRIKE! The Celta Vigo attacker struck that with everything he has, but Navas shows great reactions to make the save. That was close to an equaliser for the home side!

That's a silly challenge from Casemiro on Jozabed on the edge of the box, and the Brazilian sees yellow for it.

Isco is brought down by Wass, but the referee refuses to show the yellow card. The Real Madrid player is causing a lot of problems for Celta Vigo. He's got a roaming position.

This is a very open game. This is what we expected after the team lineups were announced. Both sides have gone for an attacking gameplan. Both sides want to go forward.

TAKEN OFF RONALDO'S TOES! Benzema looked to find his Real Madrid teammate at the back post with a low pass, but it was taken off his toes by the slide challenge of Roncaglia.

He rushed the shot in the end! Sisto takes control of a pass on the edge of the box, but he never really got his feet sorted and his shot flies well over the crossbar. Never looked likely.

That was an exceptional ball from Isco. He split the Celta Vigo defence with one cross looking for the run of Ronaldo, but Sergio came off his line to make the punching clearance.

Real Madrid also have the Champions League final against Juventus coming up, but Zidane can't afford to rest players for that game with the Liga title still very much on the line.

Of course, Real Madrid still have one more game to win if they are to clinch the Liga title. They must beat Malaga away from home at the weekend. If they win these two games, the title is theirs.

Ronaldo is driving this Real Madrid team forward. He is the one grabbing this game by the scruff of the beck, rallying his teammates. He is the spiritual leader of this side.

Real Madrid now look to be sitting back, soaking up pressure. They are quite content with their lead and are keen to consolidate it. Their defensive line is looking rather sturdy.

That was an opportunity for Celta Vigo to get the ball into the Real Madrid box, with Wass whipping it in, but it ends up in the hands of Navas. Solid away team defence, there.
