What an entertaining match! But ultimately Real Madrid will look at this as two points dropped. They twice had the lead and allowed it to slip. I suspect the post-mortem will focus on Zidane's decision to take off Ronaldo. Was that the right call? He didn't look too happy with things on the bench.

HUGE CHANCE FOR BENZEMA! That should have been a winner for Real Madrid. The ball was played to the back post but Benzema somehow managed to put his volley over.

Real Madrid are throwing everybody forward in search of a stoppage time winner, but Las Palmas are holding firm for the moment. They are repelling everything coming at them!

Four minutes to be played at the end of the second half. More than enough time for a winner!

Can either side find a winner? Are Real Madrid about to drop three more points just days after they drew to Villarreal? They have been wasteful in the final third. Haven't taken their chances.

The camera pans to Ronaldo who looks sulky on the bench. Zidane could get pilloried for taking off the number seven when the game wasn't won yet. He could come in for criticism for that call.

That was rather unfortunate for Casilla, but it was a well worked corner from Las Palmas. They have impressed throughout and have taken their chances in front of goal.

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL! Las Palmas 2 Real Madrid 2 (86 mins - Sergio Araujo). That wasn't in the script! A cushion header falls to Araujo who somehow manages to squeeze the ball past Casilla, who saved his first shot but still couldn't keep it out!

Does Isco coming on mean that James will be favoured for Tuesday night's game in the Champions League against Borussia Dortmund? Is the Colombian being rested for that?

Bale gets the chance to drive at the Las Palmas backline, pushing them all the way to the byline, but the Welsh winger's cross is a poor one and the home side can clear easily.

Here comes another change for Real Madrid and Isco will get the last 10 minutes. He hasn't had much game time this season.

Casilla's distribution has been a little suspect at times. The Real Madrid keeper has put his team under pressure with some slack passing, although his teammates have covered for him.

I get the feeling that Las Palmas wil create one last good chance before this match is out. They have been excellent on the ball, but they are now looking rather weary. Can they find the energy?

That was a late challenge from the Real Madrid right back. He deserved that yellow card.

Zidane has shown some strong management over the past few weeks to start this season. Isco and James have been ostracised while Ronaldo has just been subbed. Strong.

That's only the fifth time since 2014 that Ronaldo has been taken off in a Liga game for Real Madrid. He looked to be weary tonight, so it was probably the right call from Zidane.
