Leganes concede another free-kick in a dangerous position, level with the edge of the box down the right. Koke drives it flat towards the far post, but Victor Diaz heads behind, and then Serantes claims the eventuating corner.
44'
Gerry Armstrong reckons Legnaes are flagging, but I don't really see that. Atleti have made one chance, and that was from consecutive brilliant touches. They've not been peppering the goal the rest of the time - like, say, Man United did at Hull earlier today.
43'
Guerrero crashes into Mantovani, and, unsurprisingly, comes off worse. There's a short pause while his phizog is repaired.
40'
It's gone even scrappier.

Gabi, 35 yards out and more or less central, pings a lovely ball over the top to Griezmann, pulling off the last man on the left of the box. He watches it onto his laces and nails the volley as you'd expect, but Serantes does well to beat away. That's his first save of the night.

Saul wins the ball in the air with an arm up - it's probably not even a foul - but it leaves Diego Rico in a heap, so the ref books him. Displeasure is duly experienced.

Magnificent defending from Diego Rico! Saul finds space on the left and crosses, and as the ball drops to Griezmann, he hurls himself in his entirety at a shot that is laced with serious power.
33'
Lopez makes ground down the right but shows Filipe Luis so much of the ball that it blushes.
31'
Juanfran goes down the right and cuts back towards the edge of the box for Gameiro. He runs over it, but Bustinza is having no such thing, charging through the loose ball and snuffing out all prospect of an attack.
30'
I suppose this game bears all the hallmarks of an Atleti 1-0 special.
28'
There's some very high-class bouncing and flag-waving going on behind the Leganes goal, but on the pitch, not a whole lot.

Matovani inserts himself between Gameiro and Koke on the left of his box, dithers, and they rob him, playing a lovely one-two in remarkably close proximity, Kokoe flicking Gameiro in. There's no one between him and goal, but the angle is very acute, so he does his best to look for the far corner but ends up dragging a shot that almost goes out for a corner.
25'
Unai Lopez dallies in centrefield and is instarobbed by Gabi. But his buddies quickly funnel back to help him, and quickly avert the potential danger.
23'
Atletico win a free-kick down the left, maybe six yards from the by-line, and Gabi is behind it as those in the box push and shove. He bends it in and Savic dives away from goal to try and glance it backwards, which he manages, but he also sends it away from goal. Leganes will be delighted with how things are proceeding thus far.
22'
Atleti need to the get the ball wider earlier. At the moment, their play is much too laboured, which is allowing Leganes to frustrate them with relative ease.
20'
Lovely from Griezmann, who sucks in Ruben Perez, then flicks the ball between his legs, collects it around the side of him, and knocks off a pass. Nothing comes of it, but it was beautiful all the same.
19'
This game is not replete with goalmouth action.
17'
Atleti win a corner down the left and Gabi bends it in towards the penalty spot. Serantes is up to claim, but Godin comes flying in to disturb his equilibrium. It's an absolute monster of a jump but he can't quite get over the ball.
16'
Is Diego Simeone the hardest manager in football? I don't know why, but I've always been most unnerved by David Moyes. Speaking as an 80s kid, it's probably a Skeletor thing.
14'
Ruben Perez has begun busily in the Leganes midfield, though their most noticeable player is Mantovani at centre-back, on account of his ethereal blue hair. It is both cool and scary.
12'
Kevin Keatings and Gerry Armstrong are both surprised that Kevin Gameiro didn't make the France squad this summer - forgetting for a moment that Didier Deschamps was their manager, so all bets are off. Griezmann breaks the line and takes a beautiful first touch, botching his attempted chip, Rooney-style - but he was offside.
