Well, Real Madrid come away with all three points. Kovacic, Isco and Benzema were the standout performers for the away side. Malaga showed some fight in the second half, but they gave themselves too much work to do. Zidane will be pleased with what he saw from his team.

Benzema has played well for Real Madrid this evening, but the headline remains that he has failed to find the back of the net. This has become something of a pattern for him this season.

RAMOS INJURY? This will be a slight concern for Zidane. Ramos seems to have injured himself surging up the pitch trying to get on the end of a cross. He looks to be fine to carry on.

This is better from Malaga, but it's too little too late for the home side. Rosales has been one of the better players for the basement side, but Real Madrid are going through the motions.

Casemiro takes the shot from the edge of the box, but Adrian makes the block on the slide. Casemiro is actually Real Madrid's fourth top goalscorer in La Liga this season.

Vallejo has done well in this second half. The youngster had a miserable evening against Juventus during the week, but he has made a number of interventions tonight.

Real Madrid are now trying to suffocate this game by passing the ball around the centre of the pitch. Malaga are quite happy to stand off them and wait for the play to die out.
