Real Madrid will be disappointed that they weren't able to take three points from this match. They were the better team for much of the game, but Griezmann's goal was enough to give the visitors a point at the Santiago Bernabeu. They are unbeaten in their last five Liga visits to this ground, now.

Lucas is shown a yellow card for a tackle on Bale. Simeone was trying to imply that it was a dive from Bale. Not this time, Diego.

Vazquez is shown a yellow card for diving. He was trying to win a penalty kick.

KROOS SLICES OVER! The German is capable of so much better from that range. The ball fell to him right on the edge of the box, but under pressure he slices well over the bar.

Vazquez doesn't seem to be having any trouble with his ankle injury. There were concerns over the winger and Real could have finished the match with 10 men, but he's fine.

The gap between these two teams in the La Liga table stood at four points before the game. A draw here would be a good result for Atleti, but Real Madrid want to make that gap just one point.

Real Madrid are the ones probing for a goal here. Gameiro is the only one standing up front for the away side as Atletico Madrid put every man, besides the Frenchman, behind the ball.

Real Madrid are playing with 10 men for the moment, although it looks like Vazquez is about to come back on after receiving some treatment on his ankle injury. Is he fully fit?

Simeone makes a change, with Gameiro coming on for Thomas for the last eight minutes or so.

VAZQUEZ INJURY? This will be a concern to Zidane. Vazquez has hit the ground after appearing to twist his ankle in a clash with Godin. Real Madrid have used all their changes.

MODRIC WIDE! The Croatian takes the ball down on his chest and sends a snap-shot towards goal, but his effort flashes wide of the near post. It lacked power and direction.

I just wonder if Atletico Madrid are settling for what they already have. They hold the advantage in the race for second place, after all. A draw would be a good result for them.

BALE HEADER! The Welsh winger gets on the end of a cross into the box, but he mistimes his leap slightly and could only head wide of the far post. That wasn't bothering Oblak.

Real Madrid are well on top at the moment. They are pushing Marcelo and Carvajal forward to support the attack. Bale and Asensio are packing the box, testing Atletico's resolve.
