Morata's double gets the job done for Atletico Madrid, who faced something of a fight in the second half as they kept Real Sociedad at arm's length with just 10 men. This win closes the gap at the top of La Liga to seven points and keeps Atleti within touching distance of Barcelona.

Atletico Madrid are barely making an effort to hit out on the counter attack now. They are sitting back and plugging the gaps. They're doing a good job of running the clock down.

For all that Real Sociedad have pressed since the sending off of Koke, they have struggled to create much in front of goal. That Merino header is just about all they have had.

That's what Oblak offers Atletico Madrid. They have one of the best defences in the European game, but even when teams break through they have to face one of Europe's best goalkeepers.
