Godin gets the flick at the near post from a corner kick into the box and Morata was on hand to convert into the Real Sociedad net! He has given Atleti the lead!!

Koke is finding a lot of space between the midfield and attack down the right channel. The majority of Atletico Madrid's attacking moves are coming through the midfielder.

Oyarzabal thinks that Filipe should have been shown a yellow card. Indeed, the Atletico Madrid full back puts his hands into the back of the Real Sociedad youngster. Enough in that?

Real Sociedad seem to have weathered the Atletico Madrid storm that had been building and now they are settling back into their passing game. Atleti are settling back into their shape too.

There's the change for the home side and Bautista comes on for the injured Jose.

Jose comes off! Real Sociedad will be forced into an early change here. Jose looks to have pulled something and the forward has walked straight down the tunnel. That's a blow to the hosts.

Rulli comes out! The Real Sociedad goalkeeper was lucky there. Koke's pass split the Sociedad defence, but Griezmann was forced wide. Rulli slid in, but Griezmann stayed on his feet. Yikes!

All of a sudden, you just get the feeling that Atletico Madrid are starting to turn the screw on Real Sociedad. They are getting in behind the home side and driving from deep with the ball.

Morata at the near post! That was a good save from Rulli. Koke burst into the box down the right side and fizzed a pass into the middle, but Morata's flicked finish was saved by Rulli.

A mix up at the back! Wow! Almost a calamity for Real Sociedad! Llorente and Rulli get into a mess after a long ball over the top, but Morata didn't realise that the ball was loose and a scrambled clearance is made.

One issue for Atletico Madrid might be that their defensive line is quite old, with Filipe and Godin in there. Real Sociedad might use their lack of pace to get in behind the opposition.

Morata is now off the mark for Atletico Madrid, scoring last weekend. The on loan Chelsea striker had been unlucky not to score before then. Have his fortunes now turned?

Decent run from Morata down the right side. He then cut the pass back for his strike partner, Griezmann. However, the effort from the Frenchman is deflected and ends up in the gloves of Rulli.

Of course, we shouldn't be surprised to see this sort of performance from Atletico Madrid in the early stages of this match. They look quite content just to sit back and absorb pressure.

Real Sociedad have made a strong start to the match. Neither side have created a real chance yet, but it's the home side who are dictating things in the Atletico Madrid half so far.
