Barcelona move three points clear at the top of La Liga with Real Madrid not playing Athletic Club until tomorrow. The Catalans did what they needed to do and made a statement of intent with an emphatic scoreline. Messi, Griezmann and Suarez were all very impressive for the hosts.

There have been a number of standout performers for Barcelona today. Messi and Griezmann have linked up well, but Suarez has been the best player on the pitch. Great performance.

With the exception of a bizarre 15 minute spell in the second half, this has been a strong performance from Barcelona. They have dominated Alaves and have got the job done emphatically.

There will be four minutes of stoppage time played at the end of the match.

Perez has also come on for Barcelona with Suarez receiving a standing ovation from the home supporters.

Semedo comes on and will get the final few minutes with Roberto coming off for the home side.

Ely is shown a yellow card, but Messi puts his freekick from distance high and wide of the target. That's not like him.

Many Barcelona fans would say that Vidal isn't really a Barcelona sort of player, but the Chilean gives them something different. He really should start every game for them at the moment.

This will be Barcelona's first win in three games after draws against Real Sociedad and Real Madrid. They had to get back to winning ways and it looks like they have done just that.

The Camp Nou crowd are singing Jingle Bells. It was a bit edgy around the famous old stadium for a spell in the second half, but the home supporters are now enjoying themselves.
