This always looked like being one of Barcelona's toughest matches of the final stretch of the season. They strolled past Real Mallorca and Leganes. This has been much more difficult.

Setien has options on the bench. At what point will we see Griezmann introduced? He also Ansu, Arthur and Puig as options to introduce in this second half. Barca could use something a little different.

While Sevilla haven't created much themselves, they can be pleased with how they have largely managed to keep Barcelona's frontline of Braithwaite, Messi and Suarez quiet.

Sevilla have enjoyed decent spells at times, but they have barely created an opportunity. De Jong had a half chance, Kounde came close, but that's about it for the hosts so far.

Lopetegui surely hopes that Banega will provide a bit more energy and creativity in the midfield for Sevilla in this second half. The Argentine is in his final season at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.

This has been a decent contest, but there has been a distinct lack of goalscoring chances. Barcelona have probably had the edge on the whole, but they have lacked a final product.

Lopetegui has made a change at the break, with Banega coming on for Oliver.

HALF TIME: Sevilla 0-0 Barcelona. We are still waiting for a breakthrough. The two teams ended up in a bit of a scuffle right at the end of the half, but there was nothing really in it. A couple yellows might have been flashed. We'll catch up on that.

Chance for de Jong! The Dutch striker found himself up against Lenglet and Pique and he very nearly bundled his way through them, but the ball ran through to Ter Stegen in the end.

Is there a breakthrough left in this first half? We are into stopage time before the break and Barcelona have seemingly weathered the Sevilla storm that came at them for five to 10 minutes.

There will be three minutes of stoppage time played at the end of the first half.

Suarez flicks through for both Rakitic and Vidal to chase, but the ball dribbles through to Vaclik who was quickly off his line to make sure the Barcelona move came to nothing.

Pique enters the book. That is in fact his 12th yellow card of the season.

Setien looks a bit more worried on the touchline now. Sevilla are finishing this half well. Of the two teams right now, they look the more likely to open the scoring. On top.
