Reguilon got away with that one. The on-loan Real Madrid full back made a reckless clearance straight to Alba, but the Barcelona left back couldn't control it first time.

We haven't seen much of Messi in the early exchanges of this match. The Argentine has really hit the ground running since the resumption of the season, but he's been quiet here.

One wonders how Suarez's fitness will hold up. The Uruguayan's season was deemed to be over when he underwent surgery on a knee injury in February. He hasn't played much.

Real Madrid claimed an impressive 3-0 win over Valencia last night to close the gap at the top of La Liga to two points, but Barcelona can widen it back to five points with a win here.

Another notable piece of team news for Barcelona is that Vidal has been picked to play in the midfield. The Chilean gives Barca something different even if he isn't a 'Barca type of player.'

Barcelona have started this match well. They are looking dangerous already, but Sevilla are now taking the opportunity to slow things down in the centre of the pitch with some passes.

As much as Sevilla have enjoyed a good first season under Lopetegui, they are still struggling for a true goalscorer to lead the line since the exit of Ben Yedder to Monaco last summer.

First shot on goal! The pass is fed into Suarez, he takes the touch to set him up and the Barcelona striker gets the left-footed effort away on goal, but Vaclik makes the solid save.

Sevilla suffered a humiliating 4-0 defeat to Barcelona in the first game of the season between these two teams, but they have improved a lot since then. They will cause problems.

If Barcelona are to retain their Liga crown this will be one of the toughest hurdles they have to clear to do so. Sevilla are in third place at the moment and come into this in good form.
