Real Betis have beaten Valencia 3-0 away from home to keep their Champions League chase alive. They now sit in fifth, three points behind Atletico Madrid, who now have a game in hand.
Celta Vigo can now leapfrog Valencia and climb to ninth with a second successive win at the Camp Nou, they're currently in 11th.

It's been a quiet start for Barcelona in the pre-window rumour mill, but the latest news is that on-loan star Phillippe Countinho is wanted by Aston Villa on a permanent deal, currently on a six-month deal at Villa Park.
It has been reported the club could sign him for around £15m - £20m.

With the La Liga title remaining in the Spanish capital - but returning to Real Madrid after Diego Simone's success with Atletico last season - the best Barca can hope for this year is a runners up medal.
