HALF-TIME: PSG 2-1 MONACO
It's been a cracking game so far but PSG hold the edge heading into half-time, can Monaco respond in the second 45 minutes?

MAN DOWN
Mukiele and Vanderson challenged for an aerial ball and the PSG man goes down like he's been shot, though if anything his foot was closer to the Brazilian's head than vice versa. He looks good to continue.

SO CLOSE!
Golovin has been lively in this game but hasn't found an end product, until now. He jinks up to the PSG penalty area before playing in Minamino, who fizzes a first time shot to the corner that's only stopped at full stretch by the albatross-like Donnarumma. There's life in this game yet!

OVER TO YOU, MONACO
The visitors really went back into their shell after the Minamino equaliser capped a positive opening quarter.
But they're behind again now and building in PSG's half.

GOAL! PSG 2-1 MONACO (MBAPPE)
Kohn saved one last time out against Le Havre but there's no stopping that, Mbappe sends a bullet left into the roof of the net.

PENALTY!
The dam bursts. A ball swings into the Monaco area and Mangassa is just a beat too slow, waiting for it to arrive and swinging his leg at it which catches Dembele bursting through from behind to win the spot-kick.

NO RESPITE
PSG have hit top gear now, Monaco are surviving so far but just can't build any possession themselves to ease the pressure.

KOHN SAVES HIS SIDE
Hakimi's caused a few problems bombing down the right flank and he finds Mbappe at the back post who looks certain to score... But he's denied by Kohn at full stretch!
He's saved his side a goal there, but that didn't inspire Vanderson - the full-back who gifted the ball straight back to Vitinha and Monaco are lucky to survive again.

GAME STARTS TO SETTLE
PSG are enjoying the first extended possession for either side, but most passes are sideways or backwards as Monaco remain compact at the back. The hosts have chance to reset as Singo hauls down Mbappe.

MONACO PRESS EFFECTIVE
That Minamino goal is mightily deserved, he's been the standout player for either side so far. He's led Monaco's relentless press which has caused PSG plenty of problems, and took his goal very well.
When his side have the ball he's constantly finding pockets of space in front of the defensive line, it'd be surprising if he's done with the scoreheet yet.

FRANTIC START
This was the case even before two goals in four minutes, it's been a breakneck game so far. Both sides have taken very direct approaches and it's working, with each goalkeeper gifting a goal to the opposition.
And it's not looking like slowing down any time soon either...

GOAL! PSG 1-1 MONACO (MINAMINO)
But Monaco are back level! Donnarumma received the ball from a defender and took way too long with Balogun closing him down at warp speed, he fires it straight to Minamino who sends it straight back past sender and into the net. GAME ON!!!

PSG HUNGRY
PSG have smelled blood now, they're right back on the offensive from kick-off, with a dangerous Dembele cross just about cleared.

GOAL! PSG 1-0 MONACO (RAMOS)
That near miss seems to have shaken PSG awake and they make Monaco pay. Dembele's low shot bounced right down Kohn's throat but he couldn't hold on, presenting the ball on a silve platter to Ramos who scores one of his easiest career goals.

GOAL DISALLOWED
It doesn't stand, Balogun must've only been offside by a few millimetres as he peeled off the PSG defensive line but it's enough to keep things honours even. His shot from the edge of the box had caught Donnarumma at full stretch and Vanderson dribbled round the keeper on the rebound to fire home.

GOAL? PSG 0-1 MONACO?
Vanderson has the ball in the net after Donnarumma spills a Balogun shot, the American was called offside earlier in the build-up though and it likely won't stand...

HOW'S HE NOT SCORED?!?
Remember those PSG set-piece frailties? The defence gifted Magassa had a standing free header about 8 yards out, but he directs it close enough to Donnarumma for the Italian to save. It really should be 1-0...

CHANCE GOES BEGGING
Minaminos's been the standout for Monaco and disrupted a PSG throw-in there, pickpocketing Mukiele to win another corner...

WHAT A SAVE!
PSG have been slightly vulnerable defending set-pieces this season but Monaco opt for a short corner instead, which is easily cleared.
That allowed the hosts to counter-attack though, Ramos found Mbappe in space on the left of the penalty area and his shot forced a quality save from Philipp Kohn. Both sides have had chances.

FIRST CORNER
But it's Monaco who win the first corner, Minamino makes a bright run into the box and Hernandez can only deflect his shot out of play just past Donnarumma's post. The Italian was stranded shaping to dive right and looked worried for a moment.
