ALMOST 2-1!
This game has started full throttle and we're only seven minutes in! Said Benrahma looked threatening after PSG's first goal and he's back on the attack here, looking to drive into the penalty area from the right flank before lossing a shot that deflects off Marquinhos to almost cause a repeat of Matic's accidental opener!
This time Gianluigi Donnarumma has a few more split seconds to respond though and the big Italian spreads himself wide to just about turn it behind.

GOAL!! PSG 2-0 LYON (BERALDO)
Wow what an even better start! Lyon are in shambles as Lucas Beraldo wheels away to celebrate his first Ligue 1 goal of the season, again it was all too easy for PSG.
The cross fizzed in from the corner and Barcola (him again) got glancing contact with his head to it and Beraldo ghosted away from his marker Alexandre Lacazette and fired home from point-blank range!

VERY NEARLY 2-0!
Lopes signals to his teammates to keep their heads after this latest attack, Kolo Muani jinked into the box and found space to open a shot but Jake O'Brien got enough on it to send it past the post.

GOAL! PSG 1-0 LYON (MATIC OG)
Wow what a start! Bradley Barcola - arguably the most dangerous of PSG's star-studded front three in Barcelona - caused Lyon problems on his side's first attack of the game and slipped the ball forward for Marco Asensio, who played a cross across the box and Nemanja Matic inadvertently turned past Lopes Anthony at the near post!

LYON TEAM NEWS
Corentin Tolisso is the big-name omission after scoring last time out, he drops to the bench with Ernest Nuamah starting on the right flank as part of a shift from 4-3-3.
Nicolas Tagliafico's absence was a left surprising after his late red card against Brest means he's suspended, while Rayan Cherki's promotion to the starting squad in place of Malick Fofana was also expected given his assist as a subsitute seven days ago.
Starting XI: Lopes, Maitland-Niles, Caleta-Car, O'Brient, Henrique, Carqueret, Matic, Nuamah, Cherki, Benrahma, Lacazette.

PSG TEAM NEWS
Luis Enrique has named Kylian Mbappe, Ousmane Dembele and Fabian Ruiz on the bench after their UEFA Champions League exploits, while Lucas Hernandez and Nuno Mendes miss out entirely.
With Layvin Kurzawa still unavailable, that means Lucas Beraldo slots in at injury-hit left-back with Randal Kolo Muani and Goncalo Ramos coming in to form a strike partnership, rather than the front three that started against Barcelona.
Starting XI (4-4-2): Donnarumma, Hakimi, Marquinhos, Pererira, Beraldo, Asensio, Zaire-Emery, Vitinha, Barcola, Kolo Muani, Ramos.

WATCH: PSG COME FROM BEHIND TO STUN BARCA
While Lyon are in good form, they're up against their sternest test since... The last time they met PSG and lost 4-1 in September. Though Les Parisiens' more recent 4-1 win may just be even more treasured...

ALL TO PLAY FOR
It's a beautiful evening in Paris, for a clash between two of the best teams in France right now.
With five games left this season, PSG lead Monaco by eight points with this game in hand, and five left after tonight, while also balancing at least a UEFA Champions League semi-final against Borussia Dortmund and a Coupe de France final.
It's still comfortable, but their 1-1 draw with Clermont last time out in the league has given Monaco a slight hope and Les Parisiens are certainly up against a determined opponent tonight.
Lyon are in red-hot form right now ad certanly aren't playing out the season - they'll qualify for Europe by winning the Coupe de France and if PSG triumph then the top seven in Ligue 1 will all qualify for continental football next season - and Lyon are just a point off that group right now.

Nice 3-0 Lorient
Nantes 0-3 Rennes
Lens 1-0 Clermont
Le Havre 0-1 Metz
Lille 1-0 Strasbourg
Reims 1-2 Montpellier
Brest 0-2 Monaco

HELLO AND WELCOME
It’s been another bumper week - and especially weekend - of sport as the countdown to the start of the Paris Olympics also dipped below 100 days, so what better way to round it out than with a trip to the French capital for some Ligue 1 action?
PSG were one of the stories of the week as they came from a first-leg deficit to dispatch 10-man Barcelona 4-1 at the Olympic Stadium and they’re back in action tonight against Lyon!
After their terrible start to the season, The Kids have turned things around somewhat, sat eighth in table and just a few points off European qualification depending on how the end of the season shakes out.
This game is also a preview of the final of the greatest domestic competition in the world, the Coupe de France, taking place in just over a month, but forget that for now, we’ve got kick-off tonight at 20:00 GMT and it’s live on TNT Sports 1 and discovery+!
