It's Asamoah Gyan who will strike... a poor low drive that hits the wall. Bolton break and Taylor is at the byline. He pulls the ball back for Kevin Davies whose shot is blocked and the rebound is hacked clear!

Sunderland come forward and Fabrice Muamba fells Danny Welbeck. Richardson might fancy a shot from here...
7'
Matt Taylor pings the ball across the final third and Petrov strikes from distance... the low shot is an easy save for Criag Gordon.

Plenty of head tennis in the Sunderland area before the Black Cats clear.
5'
Phil Bardsley roams infield and is dogged all the way by Petrov, but the Sunderland full-back keeps the ball before finding a team-mate.
4'
Sunderland have their first sustained bout of possession, which ends with Kieran Richardson blazing a strike over from way out.
3'
Johan Elmander twists and turns on the edge of the box before squaring a ball across the area which is easily intercepted.
2'
Nice work from Martin Petrov as he skips inside from the right, but he can't play in a team-mate.

Only two Premier League games have survived. There is this one and Blackburn against West Ham United so enjoy your little taste of Premier League action. Unlike the snow, there is not a lot of it going around this afternoon. Hopefully, these two sides can keep us warm. A win for the visiting side would see them close to within five points of leaders Manchester United.

Amazingly, both these sides can go fifth with a win here. That goes to show how far they have come, and how congested the Premier League is outside the top four.
