Howard is furious as, after he rushes out to clear a deflected ball following a defensive mix-up, Wigan get the throw even though it took a touch off Di Santo.

Stam with a super run down the right, he hits the byline ahead of Baines and whips in a super low cross but Di Santo can only spoon it over! Great challenge by Hibbert on him though.

The rain is driving down at the DW Stadium. Thankfully it's not snow. Ball sliding around well though.

Long ball upfield by Caldwell but somewhat aimless. Di Santo catches Fellaini, then Gomez does and it's an Everton free-kick.

Free-kick to Everton on the left. Baines swings it in, ahead of Fellaini BUT HEITINGA ON THE TURN but he fires it weakly at Al-Habsi!

Say what you like about Wigan but at least they have good undersoil heating - more than can be said for Stoke, apparently.

Figueroa with a nice ball wide to Beausejour but a touch too quick for him this time

Pienaar gives it away, Figueroa plays a cracking ball wide to Beasejour, great deep cross that Di Santo heads down for Moses but he mis-kicks the ball, not expecting it, and Everton clear!

Wigan counter and Moses on the right is slide-tackled by Fellaini. Moses wanted the pass earlier to show his pace inside the Belgian.

Donovan to take the corner from the left, swinging it in... brilliant ball and Heitinga can head in but he pops it flat to the ground; half-cleared by McCarthur and PIENAAR but he blasts it over, turning away in disgust.

Baines finds Pienaar but Moses is tracking back to stop the one-two with Baines.

Gomez and Figueroa over this one, Caldwell involved too but not sure why.... Taking their time on both sides but Gomez sends it well over.

Foul on the edge of the D as Heitinga takes down Di Santo. The Dutchman is furious as he feels he was backed into.

Hibbert does well to recover after losing out to Beausejour. Throw to Wigan.

Boyce goes through the back of Stracqualursi and Everton have a free-kick on halfway. Long towards Fellaini but Wigan clear to touch.

Free-kiick to Everton that Donovan swings in, the clearance lands for GIBSON but this time he misses the kick. Ho ho.

Gomez puts in the corner but Howard gathers easily.

Moses wide right does well to win a corner. Good stuff from Wigan, but their weakness as we all know is in defence.

The long ball came from Figueroa and Distin recovered well to put him off in the end. Chance for Wigan though!!

Di Santo gets in behind Distin but Howard bats away his finish! A long ball caught Distin out, uncharacteristically, but Howard spared him.

Strong tackle by Caldwell allows McCarthy to bring it clear, Gomez with an angled cross for Di Santo but Distin clears.
