Wigan doing all right again now as they put some pressure on the visiting defence.

I don't know if he'll come on today but I'm looking forward to seeing Jelavic at this level. And to the person who asked if he'll play alongside Saha, no - unless he's sold to Spurs in the summer.

Good move from Everton as Donovan finds Stracqualursi with a neat little pass but the Argentine finds it tough to dig out a shot, prodding it at Al-Habsi. First save of the game.

Everton won 3-1 at Goodison Park when the teams last met in the Premier League in September. Everton have scored more than one goal in a Premier League game four times in 19 matches since then.

So Everton's big money signing Nikica Jelavic is on the bench today, with Stracqualursi preferred up front instead, supported by Cahill. But another deadline day deal does feature - old boy Pienaar slots straight back into the midfield. For Wigan, the January arrival Beausejour starts, while Rodallega is available to come on from the bench.
