Fellaini threads it through to Jelavic, but Hangeland read the danger to come across to the right and clear from the Croat. Now Baines with a one-two off Pienaar, the left-back swings over a fine cross and Jelavic meets it far post but he heads it into the ground and well wide.

Pienaar is penalised for a foul on the left wing, and another Everton move stalls. They have piled on the pressure but, to be fair, Fulham have defended well.

Dangerous Baines corner that Berbatov just about scambles clear before Jagielka tries a long shot that flies well wide.

Great covering block from Diarra as Everton carved Fulham apart there, Osman and Coleman combining. But Fulham - and Riether in particular - go to sleep, allowing Fellaini in, but his shot is blocked for a corner.

Surely a handball from Fellaini when he controlled it there? The ref says no so Everton keep the ball as Mirallas swings in a driven diagonal ball to Jelavic, but the pace is too much for his first touch to kill it.

Everton have a coner as Baines runs at Riether, who slides in strongly. Good punch from Schwarzer under pressure.

Brilliant cross from Coleman that Jelavic just fails to meet with the header, it ricochets around the box AND FELLAINI MUST SCORE but he can't get the shot away, as surprised as anyone it reached him.

Ruiz hits one almost embarassingly wide. We'll give him that. He had a lot of space to work a shot and it should have been better.

The corner flashes across the face of goal but Everton clear and they can counter here - but Pienaar can't find Fellaini on the break and it's a Fulham throw.

Baines sends the corner near post again and Baird pumps it clear. Mirallas on the left now but Ruiz tackles him and runs away down the right, now inside to the middle as he waits for support. Duff and Kacaniklic combine and the former whips over a cross that Jagielka heads behind for a corner.

Berbatov is up and jogs back to his box as Everton have a corner, which he will defend at the near post.
