So Darren Fletcher starts for Manchester United in the Premier League for the first time in over a year. The big surprise on the QPR team sheet is Kieron Dyer who has not started for them since he lasted only seven minutes in their opening day defeat to Bolton LAST season.

Redknapp continues to insist he would have taken the Ukraine post if QPR had not acted quickly and offered him Mark Hughes's job. Are Ukraine and QPR the only people in the world who don't think they have been played like a fiddle?

For once Manchester United have been upstaged today, with all eyes on Redknapp who has taken over as QPR boss today. He has landed a two-and-a-half year deal, and the word is that he is in line for a £1m bonus if he keeps QPR up.
