Gallacher replaces Rodriguez

Anita crosses from the left, Sissoko heads it on, Debuchy hooks it back in and it's out for a corner. Ben Arfa takes with his left, but it's cleared at the near post. Haidara then shoots from miles out and it's easily stopped.

There's a fight between the two benches, which is always good to see. Things seem to have calmed down pretty quickly and the referee is over to have his say.

Schneiderlin goes in stupidly roughly on Haidara on the left and gets himself booked.

Ben Arfa indulges himself outside the area and loses control.

Sissoko breaks down the right and finds Remy, but he's fouled by Hooiveld. The ball is played to Cisse on the right but he's tackled and the ball is out for a throw on the left.

Rodriguez finds himself free after a great Davis pass. Debuchy does excellently to come in from behind and take the ball off him.

The referee is not seriously injured, and the drop ball results in Sissoko giving the ball to Southampton. Six minutes of added time to come.

The referee has gone down, clutching his face. He's back up now, but presumably something was thrown at him from the fans. Sissoko accidentally slapped him in the head as he stumbled backwards. Quite funny.

A long ball over the top for Sissioko, he pulls the ball back for Ben Arfa, but his shot is deflected up into the air and Gazzaniga claims. Sissoko barges him as the ball drops, and he's down, injured.

Lambert's cross to Rodriguez isn't properly brought down and the ball is out for a goal kick.

Anita takes from the left, and Williamson is penalised for a foul.

Now a chance for Southampton to apply some pressure, but Haidara wins a free kick on the left, and Newcastle send the ball long.

Tiote drags a low shot from outside the box away from goal.

Newcastle have all the ball now, and Coloccini's low passforward to Cisse sees Lovren fouled by the Senegalese striker, in a harsh decision.

Ben Arfa's cross is whipped in at the near post but the keeper crouches and blocks it out for a corner. He takes a short one and gets to the byline, but his cross is out for another corner.

Shaw gives away a free kick towards the right of the goal with a foul on Sissoko.
