Walker, Townsend and Paulinho combine, and aim for Soldado, but the ball is intercepted. Norwich attack down the right but Van Wolfswinkel's through ball down the right finds Elmander slightly offside.

Free kick for Spurs - or it should be - as Turner clumps Sigurdsson as he turns past him. Ridiculously, the referee doesn't give it.

The game has calmed after the goal, but Norwich can't settle for this. An attack on the right comes to nothing as Fer overhits a pass to Elmander.

A rare attack with Nathan Redmond for Norwich. Sadly, he overhits it for Snodgrass on the wing.

GOAL! Spurs 2-0 Norwich City: Townsend and Paulinho swap passes on the right. Eriksen finds Paulinho on the right, who squares a low cross - Ruddy misses it - and Sigurdsson taps it in at the back post.

Norwich concede a freekick. Van Wolfswinkel and Vertonghen clash as they both go for a high ball, but it didn't seem to be a particularly unfair challenge.

Rose gets in another cross, but it's deflected by Whittaker, and is easily collected by Ruddy.

Spurs start with a long ball down the left, but Norwich can deal with that easily. Eriksen, drunk on success, shoots from thirty yards, but it's far too high and wide.

The second half begins, and the teams bow to tradition by swapping ends. There haven't been any changes.

Norwich have a free kick just inside Spurs' half. It's punted forward and Spurs win it back and clear. The sole minute of added time, and the whistle is blown by the ref. See you in a bit!

Walker pulls the ball back to Townsend, and his strike is hoofed way over. The temptation is to shoot with the Norwich defence so deep.

Norwich are miserable in attack, and midfield. Is it possible for Spurs to have more than 100% possession?

Eriksen and Dembele swap passes. The ball is out to Walker on the right, and it seems the whole midfield takes a touch before a Norwich defender finally puts a boot through it.

A Soldado cross gets through to Rose, but he blasts over. The closest Spurs have been to their second.

Spurs throw deep in Norwich's half. Soldado has the ball and backheels to Walker. Eventually Eriksen is tackled, as is Leroy Fer, and Townsend starts the attack again.

Spurs are so comfortable on the ball, even in defence. They're taking a rest, keeping the ball but not expending much energy.

Spurs continue to press Norwich when in possession - sometimes Danny Rose is pressing his opposite full back, such is the pressure.

Chance for Norwich! Redmond is free on the left, puts in a great cross for Van Wolfswinkel at the near post. Just as he shoots, Rose does brilliantly to intercept, but the ref incorrectly gives a goal kick.

Spurs concentrate on the left wing, and Townsend collects the ball cuts inside onto his left foot. He hits a long range shot sweetly, but it's straight at Ruddy.
