Harry Kane hits the turf in some pain after going in for a challenge but he looks fine to continue after a short stoppage.

Another great save by Lloris but Yacob really had to score! A clever freekick gets Berahino clear on the left hand side of the area and his hooked ball across goal finds the Argentine midfielder. His scuffed effort it heading for the bottom corner but Lloris turns it away again.

Morrison takes the resulting corner and picks out Lescott, but his header is well over the bar.

Fantastic save from Lloris! Anichebe turns brilliantly on the halfway line and powers forward before feeding it to Morrison on the edge of the area. The Scottish midfielder curls it towards the top-left hand corner of the goal but Lloris palms it behind.

Mauricio Pochettino wants his players to be more direct. He feels West Brom are here for the taking and he may well be right.

West Brom show a first glimpse of a threat of their own as Berahino drives at the West Brom defence before Brunt fires straight at Lloris from 25 yards out. It's a start.

Dembele drives forward with the ball through the heart of midfield and no West Brom players get near him before he feeds in Kane on the left-hand side of the area. The striker finishes firmly past Foster from 12 yards and West Brom are in a hole.

Tottenham have really dominated the ball in the opening 10 minutes with nearly 70% possession. West Brom haven't really started.

So Tony Pulis has conceded a Premier League goal as West Brom's head coach. Can they get back into the game? There's certainly plenty of time for them to.

West Brom look for a quick equaliser, as Anichebe tries to turn Vertonghen in the area. The Belgian holds his ground and blocks the striker's shot, which rolls through to Lloris.

GOAL! West Brom 0-1 Tottenham Hotspur. Referee Kevin Friend awards Tottenham a freekick just outside the West Brom area and what happens next? Christian Eriksen scores, of course. It's curled over the wall and Foster does get a hand to it but can't keep it out. He should have done better, really.

Dembele eases past Yacob and gets into space 25 yards from goal but shoots well over.

It's a subdued start at The Hawthorns, which is not sold out despite the recent upturn in results under Pulis.

McManaman goes in late on Danny Rose and concedes a freekick inside the Tottenham half. His Baggies career is underway.

West Brom haven't conceded a goal under Tony Pulis in the Premier League yet and have scored a grand total of two... it may not be a thriller. I probably should have said that earlier.
