Hello and welcome to LIVE text commentary of the Barclays Premier League clash between Arsenal and West Brom at Emirates Stadium.  The Gunners’ slim title hopes were all-but extinguished following their 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace at the weekend but they will be hoping to bolster their hopes of a top three finish with a victory over the Baggies that would see them leapfrog Manchester City in third. WBA are pretty much safe as they are 10 points clear of the drop zone and could move into 11th spot if they spring a surprise here. Kick off  7.45pm BST.

West Brom head coach Tony Pulis: "We get to go to these football grounds and play against great players, great football teams, at great stadiums. You relish it, you shouldn't be nervous or worried about it. We've got the points to keep us in the Premier League, so we should really look forward to these games."

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger: "The season is far from over. It depends on who you play and the commitment you face. Against West Ham and Crystal Palace we were not efficient enough. That is a regret. It's my job to get the team 100% ready. Every time it doesn't work you question yourself, it is part of the job. In the end it is always down to me and I stand up to that."

Arsenal have drawn their last two matches after back-to-back wins over Everton and Watford had offered a tiny glimmer of hope that they could fight their way back into the race for top spot. That dream is now dead, but it was a mini collapse following the supposed watershed win over Leicester back in February (Valentine’s Day) that saw them win just once in eight matches in all competitions that ultimately means they will end the season empty-handed. The lowest Emirates crowd ever is anticipated tonight as some fans vote with their feet to illustrate their disillusionment with Arsene Wenger.
