Ivanovic slides in to prevent Mane reaching the ball on the left wing. Southampton forced all the way back to their half.

Mane is booked for a different dive, but there's a chance Ivanovic caught him as well.

Mane takes a couple of touches in the box and launches himself to the ground. It should be a penalty as Ramires stands on his foot. Mane might get those penalties if he falls in a less ridiculous way.

Falcao nods on a long ball for Hazard to chase. Southampton have it. Stekelenburg punts it away.

Not much going on, really.

Bertrand is booked for swinging a leg out at Willian after he was barged over. Lashing out was daft, and he might even had been sent off if the ref had a cob on.

Fabregas plays a one-two with Willian, he finds Oscar, who works his way into a shooting position using Fabregas to swap passes, and his shot on goal is easily held.

Azpilicueta steals the ball off Cedric, but Southampton quickly fall back to protect the goal.

Hazard finds Oscar, who runs into the box. His cross is deflected but Fonte is across to clear before Falcao reaches it.

Chelsea have had 60% of the ball so far. Oscar receives the ball 25 yards from goal, and he fires well over.

Begovic's clearance comes to Mane, and he tries to take advantage of the poor kick by going for the top corner. Begovic has plenty of time to get back into position.

Tadic loses possession under pressure on the left wing, but Southampton win the ball back quickly.

Davis is free on the right, with time to shoot as Terry slides across to cover, but his shot squeezes just wide of goal at the near post.

Southampton are doing OK so far, and have no reason to despair, but another goal will see Chelsea go nuclear, you'd expect.

Ivanovic hauls Van Dijk to the ground as they both wait for a cross, but the referee gives nothing.

GOAL! Chelsea 1-0 Southampton. Willian scores - Another Willian goal from a free kick far from goal. He aims a shot at the top corner, curling in from about 35 or 40 yards, and the 'keeper is wrong-footed, expecting a cross. He can't get back in time to the shot, which clips the post before hitting the back of the net.

Hazard drives down the left, Romeu runs across to cover, and clips his heels. He's booked.

Cahill heads away as Van Dijk lurked for the cross.

Ramires is dispossessed and Pelle hooks a volley over to Tadic on the left, and he's ruled offside.
