Adrian claims a long ball just on the cusp of the box, as Remy closes in, but it was just inside the area.

Chelsea are keeping the ball for much of the early stages, but West Ham win it back in midfield.

Payet squares a pass inside the box but it's cleared. Though some think it was a shot.

Ogbonna was booked for dissent after the goal. Fabregas moved the ball back once the wall was set, in order to give himself more room for the free kick. Anyway, that's half time now.

GOAL! Chelsea 1-1 West Ham. Fabregas scores - Instead of Willian, it's Fabregas who takes the free kick, and he sends a curling free kick over the wall and into the top corner.

Oscar looks to go past Reid, who gave him a target to run into, and he's booked for blocking off the run. It's 25 yards out.

Ivanovic wins another corner on the right. It's headed out, and Willian tries to release Fabregas down the right. It's far too heavy a pass, and it's a goal kick for West Ham now.

Willian firmly catches the free kick, Adrian tracks it to his right and dives, but it's a couple of yards wide as he goes out of play.

Kenedy is going off to get a nosebleed sorted, and Matic starts warming up. The referee marks out 10 yards for the wall before Willian will take the free kick.

Kouyate is penalised for a push or a trip on Kenedy, who slips on the turf as he faces the midfielder. It's about 25 yards down, but Kenedy is getting some treatment before anything else happens.

Willian picks out Ivanovic. He fires in a cross and Ogbonna uses his thigh to block it, giving Chelsea a corner on the right. Sakho clears it at the near post.

Sakho breaks down the left, but is caught by Kenedy near the box and manages to shrug him off the ball. He manages to clear, despite slipping just before he makes contact with the ball.

Remy's cross into a dangerous area is chested calmly away.

Nothing from the corner for West Ham, but they've got the ball back now and aren't holding on against relentless pressure, by any means.

Sakho finds Lanzini, who flicks it behind him to Cresswell. He fizzes a shot at goal that comes off Ivanovic to go just wide.

Fabregas flicks the ball forward for Remy, behind the defence, but he can't generate the power with his header to beat Adrian.

Willian wins a corner on the right wing. It's knocked out by Ivanovic, Chelsea want a penalty after they think Valencia handles it, but the ref isn't interested. It's not the worst appeal, but it's hard to be sure on the replay, even.
