It's a sloppy start as both teams look to impose their fierce pressing, but Swansea City are the first to settle into possession.

The visitors get us under way at St Mary's, attacking from left to right.

The teams are now walking onto the pitch at St Mary's, with Swansea City resplendent in their striking away kit of dark blue and lime green hoops.

When these two sides met back in February it was a Jonjo Shelvey screamer that settled matters. Let's take another look at it...

Those hoping for a goal fest between two of the Premier League's more attractive footballing sides may be disappointed - Southampton and Swansea City have mustered just seven goals between them in their last six league meetings. There is, however, still every reason to expect an entertaining battle at St Mary's.

Swansea City manager Garry Monk: "We have only lost one game in the Premier League, let's not forget that. I think these questions [about Swansea's form] stem from the Watford performance, which we were disappointed with and didn't see coming. But the nature of this sport is that you get setbacks. What is important is you react to them well and we did that against Everton to get a good point."

Southampton manager Ronald Koeman: "Like us, Swansea in my opinion is an example of how you have to do the football business. They have a very good coach and manager, they try to play attractive football. They lost some good players, signed some other good ones and are still fighting for a high position in the table. We can compare Swansea to our team and that's maybe the reason it's a difficult game for both teams."

The perception is that Swansea City have made a rampant start to the season while Southampton have struggled, but the Saints can draw level with their opponents in the table with a home win today. Ronald Koeman's men will have to overcome recent history in order to do so, however - the away side has triumphed in the last three meetings between these two clubs.
14:25
Garry Monk, meanwhile, has sprung few surprises with his Swansea City side, though Ki Sung-Yueng is preferred to flying winger Jefferson Montero in what appears to be a midfield diamond with Andre Ayew supporting Bafetimbi Gomis in attack.
14:20
The teams are out and the big news for Southampton is that Ryan Bertrand has returned from a knee injury to make his first start of the season in place of youngster Matt Targett.
