Ake does well to keep Jurado's pass in play and deliver a cross for Ighalo, but the striker is rightly penalised for shove in Vertonghen's back.

Watford seem a little tired compared with Tottenham, who look a lot fresher and energetic. Flores will need to inspire his players at the break.

Trippier whips a good ball into the box, but good hands by Gomes to cling onto the ball.

Kane makes the wrong choice, rifling one into the stands from 20 yards when Lamela had made a good run and was demanding to be played in.

Vertonghen's early ball skims off the surface and away from Kane, who would have been in.

Kane breaks for Spurs but pushes Rose wider than he wanted. The move loses momentum and Watford force Tottenham back.

Alli and Rose combine to work the ball into a good area for Rose to cross - but the ball into the box sails straight of play for a goal kick.

CHANCE! Ake finds space down the left and sends in a cross for Ighalo, who takes his shot first time but drills it wide.

Good response by Watford, who are claiming a penalty as Vertonghen grabs some of Ighalo's shirt in the box.

CHANCE! Lamela has another chance! Kane does well to hold off his man and find Lamela, who tries to score first time when he could have taken a touch and found Trippier, who had made a good run forward.

GOAL! Watford 0-1 Tottenham: Alli wins the ball in midfield for Spurs and it reaches Lamela, who drives forward and cheekily rolls his shot into the bottom corner. Nice finish.

Capoue has another go from distance, completely scuffing a left-footed drive from 25 yards. The Frenchman seems pretty desperate to score against his old club...

Lloris gets a hand to the corner but Spurs make a hash of clearing it, Capoue meets it on the edge of the box but slices it well over.

Kane chases down Gomes's clearance and the England striker almost gets there. Spurs, of all teams, will be trying to exploit Gomes's weaknesses today.
