Alli goes in hard on Capoue, but gets away with a ticking off. Watford fans wanted more there.

Kane cuts inside Ake and looks to deliver a cross but Ake gets back well to make a vital challenge in the area on the England forward.

Alli looks to release Rose but is caught late and Spurs have a free kick.

Alderweireld yet to be booked this season, incidentally.

Loose pass by Alderweireld goes straight to Capoue but Carroll is back to win the ball back for Spurs.

How about some stats to whet the appetite? Watford are winless in their four Premier League meetings with Tottenham, drawing two and losing two. In fact, the Hornets' last win over Tottenham in all competitions was a 3-2 League Cup victory at White Hart Lane in October 1994.

So two changes for Watford as Anya and Ake come in for Nyom and Holebas. Tottenham's Walker, Davies and Eriksen drop to the bench, with Trippier, Rose and Carroll coming in.
