That change makes a lot of sense. Palace were overrun in midfield in the first half and Adebayor was nonexistent, so Bolasie allows them to go with a midfield five and adds some pace on the break.

Bolasie has replaced Adebayor at half-time for Palace.

Crystal Palace get the game back underway.

The whistle goes and West Brom head down the tunnel three goals to the good after a terrific first half performance. Palace haven't turned up and this could get embarrassing unless Pardew can inspire his team to show some fight after the break.

The set-piece ends up at the feet of Mutch inside the box, but his poked shot is cleared off the line.

Yacob eases Zaha off the ball and it's a free-kick for the visitors in a dangerous position on the brink of half-time.

Gardner's shot from distance takes a wicked deflection off Ward and strikes the base of the post. That was close to being a fourth for West Brom... which amazingly wouldn't have been undeserved.

We're into five minutes of injury time at the end of the half.

Zaha tries to beat the whole West Brom team on a mazy run - you can't blame him given the lack of inspiration around him today - but loses the ball to an almighty cheer from the home fans, who for some reason seem to blame the winger for Brunt's injury.

Chester replaces Brunt for the Baggies.

There's no way that Brunt is going to be able to continue here. The Hawthorns stands as one to applaud him as he is taken from the field on a stretcher.

Brunt goes down as he chases a loose ball alongside Zaha. The ref awards a free-kick to the West Brom man - incorrectly - but there are big concerns over the injury, which looks like it could be quite nasty.

The stats, amazingly, show that Palace have had a greater share of possession in this game. But they have done precisely nothing with it, and that's what matters.

The Baggies fans can't believe what they are witnessing. Berahino, Sessegnon and Rondon are combining brilliantly up top and Palace are on the ropes. It's not often the Hawthorns is treated to football like this.
