Everton have kept three successive clean sheets away from home in the Premier League for the first time since December 2013. The Toffees last kept four clean sheets in a row away from home in the PL back in August 1995 (a five game run).

Roberto Martinez: "I think our level of performance has been better than our points return. I would rather have the performances than the points. Against Swansea we created enough chances to win the football game. We're aware of the level of competition we face. Internally we are getting strong the way we want to play. You can sense the continuity."

STAT: West Brom have failed to win against the Toffees is their last five Premier League encounters (D3 L2).

Tony Pulis: "We've played six games and have four clean sheets. The basis of what we work on and talk about the lads have been very good at. Against Aston Villa we looked like we would score goals. We had looked threatening at times against Manchester City and Chelsea but without being really dominant in creating chances. Against Villa we should have scored more goals."

So the big pre-match news is that John Stones misses out through injury for Everton and Seamus Coleman is also absent. Kevin Mirallas serves the second part of his three match ban and Boas Myhill returns between the sticks for West Brom.
