And off we go!
16:29
A suitable welcome for Arsene Wenger, who has been manager of Arsenal for 20 years for a month. But what a man.
16:28
Out troop the players.
16:27
"How crucial is the first goal in a game like this"
"Crucial", apparently.
16:25
This really is a huge afternoon for Arsenal. Late Wenger-era Arsenal contrive a way to avoid winning; early Wenger-era Arsenal score three improbable goals in seven first half minutes.

Stunning day in Burnley - just a few minutes away from kick-off now...
16:20
As for Wenger's pre-match comments on this one? He praised Burnley's defensive organisation and counter-attacking threat: "The danger from Burnley comes from the fact that they are very efficient in some aspects of their game, they are very well-organised defensively, they don’t concede many goals at home and they’ve shown that against Liverpool and Watford. They’re very dangerous on set-pieces and counter-attacks as well, so we have to prepare well."
As opposed to "preparing badly", presumably. You know, sitting around and playing the new FIFA game or something instead of going out on the training pitch.

Burnley boss Sean Dyche paid tribute to opposite number Arsene Wenger ahead of this match, what with the Frenchman having just clocked up 20 years at the helm of the Gunners: "A lot of respect goes out from me, as a young manager, looking at him and what he's done... the way he puts a team together, the style, the manner. As managers we all understand the fan mentality, the thirst and desire to win and be successful, but from a manager's point of view you have to scratch your head and wonder why he's questioned at times."

Burnley's formation, shared by their official Twitter account. It's the sort of line-up that used to be called 4-5-1, but these days they'll probably pretend it's something trendier; 4-2-3-1 or 4-2-1-2-1 or some such nonsense.
16:05
Alexis Sanchez had become something of a Burnley specialist...
16:00
And as if that weren't bad enough, Burnley are winless in seven league games against the Gunners (D3 L4), losing each of the last three in the Premier League. The Clarets have netted just two goals in total in their last six league clashes with Arsenal, failing to score in four of those games.

Here's a bad omen for the home side: Arsenal have won 22 and drawn three of their last 25 Premier League games against newly-promoted teams, according to Opta.
