Sanchez finds Ozil and rather than shoot he slides in Walcott. The forward tries to take first time and it's hard to know whether that's a shot or a cross as it balloons up and over the bar.

That' s a bit naughty from De Bruyne. He chases down a loose ball with Gabriel and needlessly slices down the Arsenal man, earning himself a yellow.

I tell you what Oxlade-Chamberlain better be injured. He's just been taken off for Mohamed Elneny less than 15 minutes after coming on.

He does head straight down the tunnel so it's probably a knock of some kind.

Terrific chance for De Bruyne but he can only get it onto the post and it goes wide.

Gary Neville is absolutely fuming on commentary at Mesut Ozil and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain for their lack of movement, with every right as well.

Sane comes off to warm applause and he is replaced by Jesus Navas.

Arsene's going for this, Coquelin is off and Olivier Giroud is on.

Watching that back and it's hard not to marvel at the ball from De Bruyne, it's sensational.

Question marks have to be raised over both Monreal and Cech.

Sterling's crosses have been awful this afternoon make no mistake but that is a wonderful finish.

De Bruyne plays what is arguably the pass of the season as he hits a wonderful half-volley across to Sterling. The winger cuts inside and fires a low shot with his left foot that beats Cech at his near post.

Sterling has a couple of chances to get the ball in but he can't get the cross off properly. However the ball comes out to De Bruyne and his deflected shot forces a smart stop from Cech. The resulting corner comes to nothing.
