Arsenal do eventually get down to City's box and once again they carve their opponents open with astonishing ease.

They can't get a clear opening though and eventually Bellerin smashes over.

Some sloppy passing from City sees a good opportunity go to waste and Silva receives the first yellow of the game for a cynical foul stopping the counter-attack.

And the corner is played short and ends up with Monreal just outside the box. He chips the ball in and Xhaka is free and heads just wide.

De Bruyne is being held in the penalty area and he goes down but there are no appeals for a penalty from either the players or the fans.

That would have been magnificent.

A small moment but interesting as Arsenal's defenders jump out of the way as Petr Cech comes roaring and sliding out of his goal to collect the ball. Not sure we'd see that from his opposite number.

Huge roar from the Arsenal fans as Pep Guardiola slips and takes a tumble on the touchline. That pretty much sums it up for him so far.

City look slow here. Even when their fast players get the ball they take a touch and cut back, which makes it difficult them to catch Arsenal on the counter.

City are starting to grow frustrated and as a result they are starting to hit the ball longer in the air. This seems like a slightly silly direction given the height of their front four.

Momentum is starting to swing back to Arsenal now with Sanchez the driving force. He plays in Monreal who tries a shuffle to get through but it doesn't come off unfortunately for the Gunners.
