Everton form a rare attack as Barry picks out Bolasie in yards of space on the flank, the winger tries to find Lukaku into the penalty area but his cross is poor and the home defence is able to clear easily.

Fernandinho swings in a dangerous low cross into a crowded Everton penalty area but it's well defended by the visitors. City have been unable to transfer their dominance into a goal as we move closer to half-time.

Sterling looks OK to continue following a heavy challenge from Coleman. The Irishman is lucky not to be on a yellow card as it was a terrible tackle.

Deulofeu, playing as a lone striker at times this afternoon, is the target of a long ball but there's too much on the pass and Bravo is there to gather. It's a rare touch for the former Barcelona goalkeeper who has been nothing more than a spectator thus far.

Sterling is receiving treatment now following a heavy challenge from Coleman.

CHANCE! City's shot count continues to rise without a goal to show for it. De Bruyne is the latest to have a go but his effort from inside the penalty area is dragged wide of goal. The Belgian has been quite wasteful thus far.

Finally, Everton are able to form an attack and they catch City on the counter-attack. However, Deulofeu is unable to pick out Lukaku in a three vs three situation. The home side are committing plenty of players forward in search of an opener but they must be wary of Everton's pace on the break.

Everton are crowded out in midfield and lose the ball to Fernandinho who feeds Silva in space, the Spanish international has a crack at goal from 20 yards but it's always going over.

An extremely impressive showing from City thus far - and all without their leading striker Aguero.

City can't trouble Everton from the set-piece. Corners are certainly coming easily but Pep's side have yet to breach the away defence.

Fernandinho is played behind the defence, he tries to cut the ball back from the byline but his pass is blocked and City have yet another corner.
