Chelsea get the ball rolling for the second-half.

Not too much to discuss over the half-time break with the scores at 0-0. There have been few chances, especially from a Chelsea point-of-view. The best opportunity fell to Watford's Odion Ighalo who blew over from close range. Antonio Conte will have words with his side at the interval, surely.

Little time is added on at the end of the first-half and the referee signals for the break.

Hazard steps up to take the free-kick he won... it's a daisy-cutter and comfortable for Gomes who collects despite the wet conditions.

Chelsea will have a free-kick in a dangerous area after Hazard is brought down from around 25 yards. This is a good chance to test Gomes.

The rain is playing havoc in the Watford penalty area as Gomes tries to collect the ball but it slips out of his hands. Fortunately, Guedioura is there and Gomes is allowed to gather on the second attempt.

The Blues have had plenty of possession but few chances so far in the first-half.

And now Pedro's cross is headed clear by Britos. Watford currently have all 11 men behind the ball.

The Watford defence stands firm to deal with two successive crosses into the home penalty area. No way through for the Blues at the moment.

OFFSIDE! Pedro is given miles of space to deliver a cross and pick out Costa who is allowed to spin and shoot wide. The linesman raises his flag, wouldn't have counted anyway.

Hazard spins away intelligently from Britos in the centre of the park but the Watford man is having none of it and holds back the Belgian. Yellow card.

An entertaining match but still no goals with just 10 minutes to play until half-time.

The hosts concede yet another needless free-kick. It's finally whipped into the penalty area but Gomes rises highest to punch away the danger.

Guedioura is capable of scoring spectacular goals but he got that one all wrong.

OVER! Terry is alert to head clear a Holebas' cross but it's collected by Guedioura from 20 yards, the Watford midfielder has time on his side but opts to shoot first time and it's well over the bar.

The best chance of the match has come Watford's way with Ighalo spurning the opportunity but certainly an encouraging start from the hosts.

Meanwhile, looking on from the bench is Cesc Fabregas. The former Arsenal midfielder has been frozen out since Conte's arrival. Will the Spanish midfielder force a move before the end of the transfer window?

SAVE! The free-kick is delivered by Hazard who picks out Ivanovic but the defender's header is comfortably saved by Gomes.

Watford concede a cheap free-kick as Costa is fouled in a wide position and Chelsea have an opportunity to test the home defence now.

CHANCE! Amrabat slips past Azpilicueta and his cross then finds Ighalo in the penalty area but the Watford forward can't keep his effort down.
