Pep Guardiola's side are just one victory from retaining their league title and become the first side to do so since Sir Alex Ferguson's Manchester United in 2009. After a week of enthralling football, who knows what can happen today. We will be keeping a close eye at Anfield where Liverpool are waiting to pounce on any City slip-up. The Reds play host to Wolves, knowing a win could hand them the title, if The Citizens have a wobble at the Amex.

City have been scoring later and later in recent games. It took them until the 70th minute to break the deadlock against Leicester and it wasn't until the 63rd-minute they breached Burnley's defence. An early goal would settle the nerves today.

Pep has been explaining his decision to select Mahrez - "He's quality, has a lack of fear. We need good play in small spaces." It is a certainly a surprise that the Algerian has been given the nod ahead of Sane and Foden, but it's a wonderful opportunity for him to make amends for missing THAT penalty against Liverpool earlier in the season.

It has been an absolutely fascinating season and we're all set for a thrilling finale. If Liverpool score first against Wolves, City supporters will grow increasingly anxious and that is bound to transfer to the players on the pitch. But this team has conquered pressure all season. In truth, both clubs deserve the title. Imagine if Liverpool get to 97 points and yet don't claim the trophy at the end of the season. It would be utter heartbreak.

The top two can't be split - they've both been outstanding. One won't win the title, whoever doesn't will come second with an incredible amount of points."

We've shown many things but now is not the moment to say how well we've done. We have the chance to be champions if we win our game and that's what we have to do."

Cast your mind back to February when Liverpool were seven points clear at the top of the table. Did you imagine City would have the title in their hands coming into the last game of the season? Their record of 12 wins in a row has been incredible, given the pressure and their fixture list. Liverpool have been sensational, too, but Guardiola's side would be fully deserving of a second consecutive title victory.

So, Andy Robertson has recovered from the injury he picked up against Barcelona, while Mo Salah is back in the team. Divock Origi again leads the line, with Roberto Firmino still injured.

Chris Hughton will be the toast of Liverpool if he can bring City's 12-game winning streak to an end this afternoon. He makes two changes to the side that held Arsenal to a 1-1 draw, with Anthony Knockaert and Beram Kayal returning for Solly March and Dale Stephens.
