Spurs are in the mix up near the top of the Premier League table. Can they win the title this season? It is now their best ever start to a Premier League campaign. What a performance this was from Pochettino's side. They simply blew away Everton with their quality. Terrific.

Decent strike! That was heading for goal! Schneiderlin struck it flush on the full volley on the edge of the box, but Skipp gets his head in the way to stop that testing Lloris. What an effort.

There have been so many standout performers for Spurs this afternoon. Kane has been great, Alli was impressive before coming off, Eriksen was fantastic, but Son was the best of the lot.

Can Spurs win the title? On this showing, yes. This result will take them to within just two points of Manchester City and six points of pace-setters Liverpool. They are up there.

This defeat will keep Everton in the bottom half. A win would have lifted them up to seventh place, but this result means they will spend Christmas down in 11th. Small margins.

Spurs also make a change with Sissoko coming off to be replaced by Moura.

Sigurdsson comes off for Everton. He has probably been the Toffees' best player.

Lloris saves! That was an opportunity for Sigurdsson to grab a third for Everton. Digne picked him out, but his shot took a deflection and Lloris could make the straightforward save.

This has been a battering for Everton. They played well in the first half, at points, but they have been rag-dolled by Spurs in this second half. That high line has been a disaster.

A change for Spurs and Son comes off to be replaced by youngster Skipp.

Bernard comes on for Everton, but it's far too late for the Toffees to turn this game aroun.

Well, Man Utd scored five against Cardiff City yesterday and now Spurs have scored six against Everton. This is now the highest scoring game of the Premier League season so far.
