Sterling drives to the byline, getting the better of Daniels. He was direct and played an early cross into the box. It was a wonderfully flighted delivery, but there were no takers in the middle.

This is better from Bournemouth. Man City have just taken their foot off the pedal in the last few minutes and that has allowed the Cherries into the game. It's a bit scrappier, which suits them.

Man City have been in complete control, but Guardiola might well be frustrated at his side's lack of productivity in the final third. They have only produced one shot on target - the goal.

Laporte has had very little to bother him in these opening 30 minutes. The former Athletic Bilbao defender has become a mainstay in Guardiola's team this season.

Was he onside? Bournemouth played a diagonal ball to Francis at the back post, who headed back into the danger area. The flag was up, but replays show that he was in fact onside.

In King and Wilson, Bournemouth both two in form strikers. But they have had to feed off scraps so far. With the exception of a half chance for Wilson early on, they have had nothing.

The diagonal balls from deep are causing Bournemouth problems. Man City are finding it easy to get in behind the Cherries, almost at will. They need to find a solution for that.

City have complete control of this match at the moment. Now, they are slowing things down by passing the ball around the midfield, but they can quicken it up whenever they feel like it.

The Cherries are now enjoying a spell of possession, but it's difficult to see how they will bother this Man City defence. Bournemouth just can't make the ball stick in the final third.

Zinchenko has been impressive in the opening 20 minutes of this match. He has come into the Manchester City team at left back in recent weeks following the injury to Mendy.

Will we see a more expansive game from Bournemouth now that they have fallen behind early on? They will need to come out and play a bit more if they want something from this match.

Another Bernardo effort! Bournemouth are once again caught out by the pace of Sane. He checks back and plays the pass to Bernardo on the edge of the box. His volley down into the ground is cleared.

Bernardo has struggled with injuries recently, but on the whole the Portuguese playmaker has enjoyed an exceptional season. He has been one of the best players in the league.

Bournemouth haven't made the worst start to this game, but they now find themselves 1-0 down. Ominious. Is there anyone who can stop Manchester City at the moment?
