GOAL! WOWWWWWWWWWWWWW. Wilfired Zaha, from the very top drawer. A long diagonal flicked on by James Tomkins, and Zaha drives into the box before firing hard and high inside the near post, and the Eagles have soared again, thanks to their talismanic Ivorian.

Better from Palace! Zaha is at the forefront of the attack down the left, cutting it back for Benteke who fluffs his lines, but it falls for McArthy who tries the overhead and it nestles into Matt Ryan's gloves.

A smart turn and shot from Benteke is well kept out at the near post by Ryan! A rare sighting for Palace, but Brighton maintain the advantage.

Palace are really having to weather Brighton's storm here as the Seagulls look to turn the screw... Trossard is being ever-trickier, and Aaron Mooy and Pascal Gross are proving tough to pick up between the lines.

There's no real creativity from Palace at the moment, and it's no surprise to see Max Meyer replace Cheikhou Kouyate in an attempt to add a spark to the Eagles' engine room.

GOAL! There it is! Brighton finally break Palace's resilience, and with a bit of fortune in the shape of a deflection, Neal Maupay gobbles up the rebound and slams it into the top corner. A richly deserved Brighton lead.

There's a bit more intent and adventure in Palace's press at present. Don't get excited, there's a serious emphasis on 'bit'. Brighton still in control here, everything but the scoreline is going their way.
