Palace waste a great chance as Alexander-Arnold gives the ball away in his own half and it eventually ends up at the feet of Kouyate, who picks out Ayew with a great cross, but the Ghanaian pokes wide.

This is better from Palace and then again work the ball to Zaha, who wins a corner as his shot from a tight angle is blocked.

Zaha gets on the ball for the first and can't find much joy versus Alexander-Arnold so lays the ball back to Van Aanholt, whose cross finds a defender rather than Ayew.

Oxlade-Chamberlain picks up the ball from a deep cross and dribbles inside, telegraphing that he wants to shoot. By the time he does, it's blocked. He's started on th left, with Mane on the right.

A miscued Alexander-Arnold backpass gifts Palace a corner, although Liverpool cope with the couple of decent crosses sent into their box as a result.

Guaita has to be off his line quickly to deal with a probing through ball from Van Dijk.

Liverpool win a free-kick narrowly inside the Palace half, but the angle isn't really there for the cross and the hosts clear.
