Something worthy of note: we can now say with certainty that Brandon Williams is United's first-choice left-back. Luke Shaw came in against Liverpool to play as one of three centre-backs and did ok, but he's back out again tonight.

Burnley are pressing United's defence in possession, which should give the game decent pace.

United move the ball nicely, Fred, James and Mata combining, before Fred attempts a shot with his right foot. Hilarity ensues.

Cork careers through Fred and somehow skives a card. He's a lucky boy.

Away we go at a foggy Old Trafford, United attacking the Stretford End - which is unusual.

Apparently Jamie Vardy has twanged his hamstring.

Rio Ferdinand has just referred to the "corridor of doubt" between keeper and defence.

Reports suggest that he's going to leave on a free in the summer, which is a bit of a shame for United. He's been rubbish pretty much every time he's got on the pitch, but clearly has some talent.

Surprised to find myself saying this, but I'm increasingly impressed every time I listen to Ryan Giggs talk football.

We just see some VT of McNeil. I wonder if he might finish up in the middle, because he's not got great pace but can pick a pass. He'll be a tricky opponent for Wan-Bissaka because he might not try and run him, but will look to get quality ball into the box quickly.
