90+5'

FT: Sheffield United 1-0 Arsenal. An all too familiar feeling for Arsenal fans as the Gunners are out fought and cannot create that killer opening. A set piece goal is again their undoing, as they miss out on the opportunity to go third. The Blades have claimed their biggest scalp so far this season. Thanks for joining us. Goodnight.

90+4'

Frustrations boiling over here as Chambers is booked for dissent. Looks like Arsenal have come up short.

90+2'

Guendouzi sprays it wide for Chambers, who again gets the cross all wrong.

90'

Five minutes of added time here.

88'

Time is running out for Arsenal here. Chambers drills the ball across goal, but there is nobody there. Corner to Arsenal.

86'

Yellow card for Sokratis for a foul on McBurnie. Vital timewasting going on now.

84'

Final change from the home side with Norwood replaced by Oli McBurnie.

82'

Guendouzi does well to get to the byline, but again the cross is blocked.

-

Gunners fans not happy.

80'

Cross deep to the back post finds Kolasinac, but the Bosnian cannot guide his header on target.

78'

Change for the Blades, too, with Luke Freeman on for McGoldrick.

77'

Final change for Arsenal with Gabriel Martinelli on for Pepe.

75'

Pepe again with the strike, but he cannot get any bend on it and the ball flashes wide of the mark.

73'

Pep whips the ball over the wall from a free-kick but that is easy for Henderson to gather.

71'

Arsenal are playing some nice stuff, right up until that final pass...

69'

Here is the change for Arsenal, with Alexandre Lacazette on for Xhaka.

67'

Good consistency from Mike Dean as he books David McGoldrick for simulation.

65'

Pepe tries to dart into the middle but again the final pass is poor.

63'

Half the ground thought it was in, but Fleck's half volley finds the side netting.

-

They really have been poor so far...

61'

Clipped cross from Saka finds Ceballos, who arrives late in the box but he cannot connect properly and Henderson makes an easy save.

59'

There remains a real lack of imagination in the Arsenal attack. It is the hosts who look like scoring next.

57'

Just the one shot on target for Arsenal so far.

55'

Mousset seems to have picked up a knock, so local hero Billy Sharp comes on, and takes the armband.

53'

The ball for Ceballos on the edge of the box, he attempts the clipped cross, but Henderson is out to gather.

51'

The ball falls for Mousset in the middle, but he handles as he tries to bring the ball under control.

49'

Arsenal are still plugging away, but they cannot create that chance for Aubameyang, still.

47'

Pepe whips the ball into the middle but again the home side clear.

45'

Change for Arsenal as we begin the second half with Dani Ceballos on for Willock.

20:49

An unwanted record.

45+2'

HT: Sheffield United 1-0 Arsenal. Fine effort from the home side, who have looked as resolute as ever. Arsenal have played some nice football in spells, but they haven't created the openings, and have looked vulnerable from set pieces, too.

45'

SAVE! Brilliant strike from distance by Xhaka, but Dean Henderson watches it all the way and beats the ball away. Two minutes of added time here at the end of the first half.

44'

Mousset tries to use his pace to beat Guendouzi to the ball, but the Arsenal midfielder does well to recover.

42'

Arsenal are seeing more of the ball now, but they cannot create anything...

40'

Another booking as O'Connell blocks off Pepe and is cautioned.

38'

All kicking off here! Freddie Ljungberg is on the Arsenal bench and he has gone too far with his complaints as Dean now shows him a yellow card.

-

Set-piece woe

37'

NO PENALTY! Bukayo Saka darts into the penalty area, goes down looking for the penalty, but referee Dean brandishes the booking for simulation! Arsenal are furious.

35'

Ball falls to Aubameyang on the edge of the box, but his side-footed effort is blocked.

33'

Goals have been a problem here, but now they have one, their rigid defence can kick in.

31'

On his first league start for the Blades, Mousset scores a simple goal, but Arsenal's defenders do not cover themselves in glory. O'Connell gets above three Arsenal defenders, nods the ball down for Mousset, who sticks out a right leg and finds the net.

30'

GOOOOOAAAALLLLLL!!!!!! Sheffield United 1-0 Arsenal. Lys Mousset taps home to send the home fans into raptures.

28'

Cross after cross is coming into the Arsenal box, but they are coping well so far.

26'

Still no save for either goalkeeper to make. Hosts starting to pile on the pressure, though.

24'

Jack O'Connell tries to force his way in down the left, but his cross is blocked.

22'

CHANCE! Huge opportunity for Arsenal on the counter. Pepe starts the move, Kolasinac races down the left, feeds the ball into the middle for Pepe, but the Gunners forward cannot connect, six yards out. Any touch and it is a goal.

20'

Nice move from the hosts ends with Stevens drilling for goal, Mousset sticks a foot out, but cannot guide the ball towards goal.

18'

Chambers does well to first keep the ball in play and then keeps possession as Kolasinac is invited onto it down the left but George Baldock is quickly out to pounce on the loose touch.

-

Two months until Christmas...

16'

The follow through from John Fleck on Aubameyang earns him the game's first yellow card.

14'

Third corner for the hosts coming up. Sloppy from David Luiz as he finds touch deep in Sheffield United territory before Calum Chambers is forced to knock the ball behind.

12'

No clear chances as yet, but Arsenal are really growing into this.

10'

Bernd Leno is keen to play out from the back but good high pressing forces him to misplace his pass out to Sead Kolasinac. Sokratis is then in meatily on Mousset as this highly competitive start continues.

8'

Replays suggest the Blades got away with one there. The VAR did not intervene...

6'

Sokratis is unhappy with a challenge from John Egan in the box, but referee Mike Dean is having none of it.

4'

Arsenal are playing a risky game at the back, with the hosts pressuring them deep into their own penalty area.

2'

Early pressure from the Blades, Oliver Norwood tries a short corner, but it comes to nothing.

1'

KICK OFF! The visitors get us under way.

19:57

We are minutes away! A win moves Arsenal back to third, but this will be anything but easy!

19:42

White Rose joy!

19:36

AUBA CLOSING IN ON 50: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has scored 49 goals in 75 games for Arsenal in all competitions - a goal here would see him become the sixth fastest player to reach the 50 milestone for the Gunners.

19:20

And, of course, the big news is...

19:14

HEAD TO HEAD: Sheffield United are unbeaten in their last four top-flight home games against Arsenal (W1 D3) since a 0-2 loss in April 1991. However, this is their first such meeting since December 2006. Arsenal have played more Premier League games at Bramall Lane without victory than they have any other ground in the competition (3 - D2 L1).

19:09

WILLOCK IN, STRIKER CHANGE FOR BLADES: Talented youngster Joe Willock returns to the Arsenal starting XI for the first time since August in the Premier League as the only change from the Gunners' 1-0 win over Bournemouth last time out, Dani Ceballos the man to make way. Oli McBurnie - following his drink-driving charge - and Callum Robinson are benched by Chris Wilder as Lys Mousset makes his first Premier League start alongside David McGoldrick up front.
