A Chelsea chance! That's the first time the away side have caused alarm in the Wolves defence. The corner kick was played to the near post, but Rudiger's flick is deflected wide of the near post. That wasn't too far away.

Still nothing...

Not a lot happening in this game at the moment. Both teams struggling to get going in the final third. It's all happening in the middle of the pitch. I'll wake you up when something happens...

Chelsea need more from Alonso in an attacking sense. The Spaniard is often suspect going towards his own goal, but he offers the Blues something in the final third of the pitch.

There isn't much between these two teams at the moment. That perhaps shouldn't come as a surprise given that Wolves and Chelsea are expected to be vying for position in the table this season.

Good passing play between Jonny and Jota sees a low pass played into Jimenez in the box, but Mount was aware to the danger and tracked back to make the recovery clearance.

Of course, Chelsea made great use of the wing back system under Conte, but it appears that they are out of their groove in this shape. Alonso and Azpilicueta are pretty isolated.

Chelsea are showing intent whenever they come forward on the attack, but it must be said that there is very little fluidity to their play. They are giving the ball away a lot. Struggling to get going.

The biggest problem Lampard has faced in the early days of his Chelsea tenure is that his defence has been extremely vulnerable. The return of Rudiger should help in that regard.

This has the makings of an entertaining encounter. Both teams are looking to attack whenever they have the ball. Wolves and Chelsea are in the same boat - they need three points.

Once again, Traore causes Chelsea problems by driving to the byline and getting a cros into the box. The away side clears, but the Wolves winger is having joy down the right flank.

Wolves are the ones seeing the majority of the ball in the early stages of this match. Chelsea seem quite happy to sit deep and then strike out on the rapid counter when they win it back.

Early chance! That was an opportunity for Wolves, with Traore getting a low ball into the box from the right wing. But Christensen came across to cut it out before it could reach Jimenez.

Wolves were one of the success stories of last season, but they have struggled to reignite that spark over the first few games of the 2019/20 campaign. Can they find it again here?

It looks like Lampard has opted for a back three for the first time this season. Of course, there was another new Chelsea manager to switched to a back three and then romped the league... just saying.

It's been a difficult start for both these teams this season albeit for different reasons. Chelsea have struggled defensively, while Wolves have found it difficult to balance league and European football.
