Arteta:
Chelsea have been extraordinary in the last few months, in terms of results and performances, and it is always tough to come here. But we know what we have to do to beat them. We have to be 120 percent of our level, individually and collectively. If we do that, we have a chance to win the game. We need to lift our heads and show we care, and give this club and the fans the finish to the season they deserve.
The managers have been speaking to broadcasters Sky Sports ahead of kick-off. Here’s the pick of what they’ve had to say…
Five changes for Arsenal, with rests for Gabriel Martinelli, Pepe, Willian, Dani Ceballos and Calum Chambers.
That’s seven changes for Chelsea from the side that beat Manchester City at the weekend. But the players coming back in aren’t exactly second string (on the whole). Kepa, Thiago Silva, Kurt Zouma, Jorginho, Ben Chilwell, Mason Mount and Kai Havertz all start.
Chelsea: Arrizabalaga, Azpilicueta, Thiago Silva, Zouma, James, Gilmour, Jorginho, Chilwell, Mount, Pulisic, Havertz.
Subs: Alonso, Werner, Mendy, Giroud, Hudson-Odoi, Ziyech, Emerson Palmieri, Anjorin, Livramento.
Arsenal: Leno, Holding, Gabriel, Pablo Mari, Tierney, Thomas, Elneny, Saka, Odegaard, Smith-Rowe, Aubameyang.
Subs: Bellerin, Ceballos, Lacazette, Willian, Cedric, Pepe, Chambers, Ryan, Martinelli.
Here’s a reminder of those teams…

Tonight’s game also offers a terrific opportunity for Arsenal to get some positive vibes back around the club. It’s fair to say that those vibes aren’t exactly plentiful right now, after a period of steady deterioration at the club, but a win over London rivals would certain help.
Arsenal’s season will not be seen as a success, regardless of what happens in the remaining matches. But there is still a chance that Mikel Arteta’s side could overtake their north London neighbours Spurs and finish respectably high in the table. However, lose tonight and the Gunners face the very real prospect of being leapfrogged by both Leeds United and Aston Villa, sending them into the bottom half of the table.
The Blues have an FA Cup final coming up this weekend too, so perhaps as the match unfolds then Tuchel will make some changes that reflect their big upcoming game. Fresh legs and all that.
For Chelsea, tonight’s game is all about strengthening their grip on that top four place. Win this and it would take something pretty absurd for either West Ham United or Liverpool to catch Thomas Tuchel’s side and nab that spot. Lose and the door will still be open.
